Celebrating Women's History Month, Maria Mar offers you the dance-theatre performance FlightDream and a healing journey to release the roadblocks to your personal dream as a woman.

In FlightDream, PBS-featured master improvisational actress Maria Mar takes you on an electrifying journey through the roadblocks that stand between you and your dream. Sharing her Personal Medicine with impeccable honesty, the internationally known artist-shaman creates a LifeByte -- a chunk of life shown on stage-- showing you what she has discovered about women's self-sabotage. She then performs another LifeByte to show you how to transform your "Yes, but" dance of self-sabotage into a dream dance. Corazon Tierra in Unraveling Absence

In Unraveling Absence, performer and bailaora Corazon Tierra (la Niña Boricua) brings to you a profound art experience to rescue the joy of living in your body. In this stirring dance-theatre performance, Corazón combines Flamenco and Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba dances with theatre, poetry and song. Through this magical language, she takes the women in the audience on a journey to unveil the enemies of a healthy body image. Corazón shares the story of how she healed herself from anorexia, reclaiming the territory of her body. She becomes a mirror to the women in the audience, who participate throughout the presentation with safe, private actions. This performance is framed in a shamanic healing journey that will return you to your body.

FORUM PRESENTATIONS

Forum Presentations are private showcase presentations of new shows presented for a small group of women who enjoy 50% or more discount on the ticket price in exchange for a simple commitment: to participate fully, give feedback and allow the performance to be videotaped.

(Participation is safe and private, with only group games and performance being filmed. You are also encouraged to give audio testimonies.)

This Forum Presentation of Journeys to Joy is for a selected group of women, for the purpose of collecting testimonies and creating a special video documentary about the Female Face of Power. This documentary will include:

• scenes from our shows around the world,

• interviews to women in different countries and

• the presentation of our female-based solution systems.

In exchange for your participation in this video documentary, and thanks to a grant from The Field/ F.A.R. Space program, we waive 70% to 80% of the ticket price.
